We are proud to announce we have finalised the acquisition of the assets for production of fiber optical assemblies for specialty markets from BizLink Group and have successfully established WEINERT Optic Electric Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. - located in the city of Changshu, in the middle of the economic powerhouse that is Jiangsu province.
This acquisition allows WEINERT to offer our Chinese customers a local sales, engineering & manufacturing option when it comes to specialty fused silica glass & preforms, special optical fibers, customized assemblies & optical solutions as well as fiber switches. This unique portfolio offers an effective alternative to the high freight costs, increased trade barriers and various other challenges involved in international trade.
Moreover – as stated by Andreas Weinert, CEO & CTO of WEINERT Industries AG.- WEINERT’s entry into the Chinese market, as a key photonics market, is crucial for the groups’ long term success.
